Hot Rolled (HR) Steel

Steel is heated in a furnace at elevated high temperature around 1100 ~ 1300 degrees C (2012 ~ 2372 degrees F). The heated steel is passed through various rollers to achieve desired thickness. Descaling is then conducted where the oxides and mill scale is removed. Thereafter, steel is cooled either by Air or water quenching process.

  • Thickness Range: 2.85 mm ~ 12 mm.
  • Coil Width: 500 mm ~ 1219 mm.
  • Grade: As per end use customer’s requirement.

End Use of HR Steel:

  • Construction.
  • Automotive.
  • Pipeline.
  • Industrial Machinery.
