Tin Free Steel

TFS is used in metal packaging primarily for food and beverage containers. Unlike ETP, TFS does not have Tin coating. TFS substrate is basically a low carbon steel similar to ETP. TFS is coated with Chromium Oxide (Cr2O3) that provides a barrier as an anti- rust coating. Additionally, it also offers formability and paint adhesion.
